How do I sell my used jewelry to Designs In Gold?
If you are in the area, please call (805) 693-8700 to make an appointment with the owner. If you’re out of the area, please email info@digsolvang.com with pictures and a description of your item(s) for us to make a determination whether we would be interested in your items and it will be worth your while to make the trip to see us. Please note, we only buy jewelry after we see it in person.
What kind of jewelry can I sell to Designs In Gold?
Designs In Gold primarily buys gold, platinum, and sterling silver jewelry. We do not buy costume jewelry or jewelry made from base metals such as stainless steel, titanium, or gold plate. If you do not know what metal your jewelry is made of, we would be happy to identify it for you.
We are always looking for:
High-quality estate jewelry (pre-owned) from the 1800s to today
Jewelry from famous makers such as David Yurman, Tiffany & Co., Hammerman, and Mikimoto
We also buy sterling silver coins, flatware, tea sets, vases and candlesticks.
Will my jewelry be sold by you on consignment?
We do not take in jewelry on consignment.
How much will I get paid for my jewelry?
We will be able to procure an offer for your piece(s) after taking into consideration things like quality of manufacture, maker, rarity, current metal price by weight, and resale value. Please note that in order to make an offer, we must see your jewelry in person.
Can I sell broken or damaged jewelry?
Yes! Designs In Gold will buy damaged jewelry for the most current metal value, by weight. We can buy gold, sterling silver, and gold-filled pieces. As we are only able to buy in-store, please call (805) 693-8700 to schedule an appointment.
When and how will you pay me for my jewelry?
Once an offer is agreed upon, you will be paid by company check immediately.
